The project

SPARROWS, Sharing Paths Among Rural Residents: Old-age Wisdom and Sustainability, is a European funded Erasmus+ project aimed to empower elderly individuals in rural communities as ambassadors of sustainable lifestyles, utilising innovative learning pathways and fostering intergenerational connections.
To achieve the objectives and purposes of this project, activities will be developed to promote behavioural changes regarding sustainable lifestyles. To this end, we will work with elderly people who have fewer opportunities because they live in rural environments, thus allowing them to serve as models for a sustainable way of life.
The project also aims to create innovative educational itineraries through active learning spaces located in natural rural environments, leveraging digital tools to promote learning about sustainability.
